Donations
Donations, either financial or in kind (of any form such as foodstuff, clothing, medication, school material or simply time invested to help us in our work) are the momentum that steers our projects. In this section we will provide some simple examples of what we may accomplish with any amount, no matter how small, contributed towards our goals:
- US$ 20 may provide nutritious food for one week to a person suffering from HIV/AIDS. Eating well is one of the most effective ways for the PLHA to prolong their life.
- US$ 30 is enough to provide clothing for one of our orphan children for a whole year.
- US$ 50 may cover the medical expenses of an elderly person for 5 months.
- US$ 100 suffices to support a one-day training seminar for 20 of our young children on health issues.
- US$ 200 is more than enough to fully support the rental expenses for a room hosting one of our widows (often infected with HIV/AIDS) for a whole year.
- US$ 500 will be sufficient to sustain the school expenses of one of our underprivileged teenagers for an entire year of secondary school.
Based on the above, it is now demonstrated that no donation is too small! Any amount can make a decisive difference in the life of a child, a teenager, a person leaving with HIV/AIDS or an elderly person
